From gas stations to food trucks to the famous little stand in downtown Reykjavik, these hot dogs are a source of national pride and international fame (just ask Bill Clinton)! Made from a savory blend of lamb, pork, and beef, they’re topped with crispy fried onions, creamy remoulade, sweet mustard, and raw onions for the perfect balance of flavor and texture.
Homemade Condiments
We couldn't find a cost effective manner to ship condiments from Iceland, so we decided to develop our own recipes that both honor tradition while allowing us to add our own fresh spin on the classics. All the delicious flavors you taste on a Gunnar's Dog are made from scratch!

Long story short - the USDA has restricted the import of Icelandic hot dogs, so no one can actually order these puppies from Iceland. We knew full well that this business wouldn't be the same without a lamb-based hot dog, so we partnered up with The Sausage Kitchen in Lisbon Falls, ME to create our own custom link!
